why_me_why_not, who requested Reid, molecular biology. Unbeta'd, so hit me with errors where you see 'em.

Fic: Waking (Criminal Minds, PG-13)
Mar. 15th, 2007 11:32 pmTitle: Waking
Fandom: Criminal Minds
Character(s): Spencer Reid
Rating: PG13
Warnings: reference to drug use, torture, and violence.
Spoilers: Up to and including 2x15 (Revelations). Pretend like Fear and Loathing, Distress, and Jones never happened.
A/N: Entirely unbeta'd, so I'm at fault for any and all errors. And in case anyone wasn't clear on this, the characters mentioned here all belong to CBS, not me.
( Spencer doesn't sleep well lately )
I'd love to hear what you think, 'cause this is a new fandom for me.

I requested Reid/Hotch, restraint, hug at the end of Revelations. And even though she totally does not ship Hotch/Reid, she indulged me.
The drabble is here, along with a couple of SPN and HP drabbles she wrote. And even more of her gift drabbles are here.
In other news (although I am not at all sure it's new), I totally fail at LJ and fandom and life right now. But I'm trying to get back on track. Stuff to be edited, stuff to be written, and poll data (from aaages ago) to analyze and post. And a reader commentary about John Amaechi's book and the kerfluffle it caused in the NBA world last week to draft. Posts to comment on, comments to reply to. All that good stuff.
So what's happened lately that I missed?
five more things
Feb. 19th, 2007 10:36 pmuno: My in-laws are relatively cool, minus the whole not-happy-about-not-taking-their-name-or-having-kids thing. But oddly enough, I got along better with MrIris's mom before we got married. It's like there was this gate that fell when the marriage license was signed; now he's not her little boy, and it's my fault.
dos: There are no tissues, no Sudafed, and precious little NyQuil or DayQuil left in my house. I've had enough of this. But at least now my sinuses aren't so swollen that the weight of my glasses on the bridge of my nose hurts.
tres: I've been ripping the last of my CDs to iTunes. Tonight I was going to copy Metallica's St. Anger, which I don't like so much and hadn't made a priority (unlike their other albums). When I opened the case, I found the Garbage Version 2.0 CD that has been missing for at least a year and a Trojan stuffed into the pocket where the St. Anger CD should have been. I cannot imagine how that combination of things found its way to that particular location.
cuatro: Now that I've watched most of season one of Criminal Minds, I'm not as convinced that I can write the JJ/Morgan/Reid thing I had planned. It's started, but I'm having a hard time with it. I think I have to forget canon for a bit and just go with your ficlet as the only reference, Tabby. That way I can make it work.
cinco: No hockey tonight. None. What's up with that?
