MrIris laughs when I babble about the bands and shows I see, sniggers over me following their blogs and twitters and everything.

Then, today? He sent me a link to a review of The Gourds' new album and an interview with them, and babbled about it.

FYI? The Gourds are at the Continental Club tomorrow night, doors @10pm. They're also doing a signing/acoustic thing at Cactus Music at ~5:30pm.

When I opened the email, I was like, "Is he for real with this? SERIOUSLY? HAHAAHAHAHA! HE CAN NEVER LAUGH AT ME AGAIN!"

Also? He offered to go with me to HCT if AAR were the headliners, and I was like, "Uh, well, um..." B/c I know he won't want to be up front at the barrier - he's got issues with crowd surfers since he had one dropped on his head at the Less Than Jake show, and he refuses to be up where he HAS to deal with them.

Hee, I'll keep that in mind. But no, he won't go to a show and then be okay with us separating. He wants us to stand together, in the middle or back of the crowd. Which, uh, is not what I like to do. I want to be at the front!
