Then, today? He sent me a link to a review of The Gourds' new album and an interview with them, and babbled about it.

FYI? The Gourds are at the Continental Club tomorrow night, doors @10pm. They're also doing a signing/acoustic thing at Cactus Music at ~5:30pm.

Heh. I told D he was forbidden from making derogatory "fangirl" comments about or to me EVER AGAIN after he spent 30 hours straight watching (actually, RE-watching) his show, The Unit, a couple of months back. I've never spent a block of time that large on any of my fandoms. I think about 12 hours has been the longest I've done. :)

...I was going to watch Jimmy Kimmel live tonight, but A felt the need to play Mario Kart right as it started. So I'm recording it, and will be up very late indeed to watch it when he's done with his orgy of Wii-playing.

When I opened the email, I was like, "Is he for real with this? SERIOUSLY? HAHAAHAHAHA! HE CAN NEVER LAUGH AT ME AGAIN!"

Also? He offered to go with me to HCT if AAR were the headliners, and I was like, "Uh, well, um..." B/c I know he won't want to be up front at the barrier - he's got issues with crowd surfers since he had one dropped on his head at the Less Than Jake show, and he refuses to be up where he HAS to deal with them.
