And it puts me in mind of Ryland Blackinton's blog about a bunch of college jocks calling him and Spencer Smith faggots when they were at MTV's Spring Break thing, and makes me want fic where Gabe's deliberately provocative in response to their insults. To go with the song, of course. My brain.

The thing is, I don't even like the Katy Perry version. It's too bouncy, or something, and the way she sings it grates on my nerves. It's too trite, I guess. But I seriously love what CS did to the lyrics, making it a deliberate tweak.
