3. Anybody know what's up with the TAI show listed for 12April at the Warehouse on last.fm? I can't find any info on it at the Warehouse's site (it's not on their calendar), their mailing list, LiveNation, Ticketmaster, the Houston Free Press, TAI's website or myspace, or the FBR site. (I haven't done more than a cursory search of their myspace, because I despise myspace's layout. It makes my brain bleed.)


4. Dear Associated Press, you totally suck.

Coming off weekend victories in five contests, Obama was favored to win the Tuesday trio of primaries thanks to a blend of black and better educated voters in those areas[...]

So the implication is that voters who favored Hillary Clinton must be white and/or uneducated? I'm sure folks in California and New York appreciate that. Seriously.


ETA 5. Dude. We have a cupboard under the stairs in my house. I've lived here how long and only just connected the extra closet with that phrase? MrIris was running around getting ready for a business trip, and I'm getting ready for work, and he couldn't find a specific jacket, so I asked him if it was in the closet. "What closet?" he asked, since he'd checked the bedroom ones. "The one under the stairs." A fit of giggles followed when I realized what I said, which he did not appreciate. Now I need fic where Harry lives next to the odd sports equipment, vacuum, and mop that occupy that cupboard, and acts like a cloak-check boy. :)

Yeah, sometimes I listen to FOB's lyrics and seriously wonder if they're really about Janae and Morgan like Pete Wentz has said in interviews or if they're about someone else. Like "I've Got A Dark Alley and A Bad Idea...". I just. My brain screams PATRICK! when I hear joke me something awful just like kisses on the necks of best/just friends, given the usual content of the wee bit of stage-gay Pete performs (which, really, isn't even close to as much as Green Day or MCR or Panic).

Ticketmaster had MCR playing San Francisco a couple of days before The Bamboozle. I am REALLY hoping they hang out on the West Coast for a little while. Go up to Seattle. Or Portland. Or Vancouver. I'm not picky.

I know! I thought last year's festivals were pretty good, even though I didn't go to many because we were saving money and time for our vacation to Australia.

Oh, hey, and REM is gonna tour, and The National will probably open for them, and YES, Matt Berninger. Please. Can you do ACL again this year? PLZ?

I've already explained that I will see MCR this time, no holiday travel, no old-friends-getting-together-out-of-town, nothing is interfering. And actually, if they don't come to Houston, I'll go to see them in Atlanta with randomepiphany. :D

Dude. Radiohead tickets go on sale Saturday. I don't need to see them. Especially since it's at the Woodlands, which is a bitch to get in and out of, and is an hour drive, and you know that I'm still gonna end up getting tickets, right? *head/desk* I will be eating PBJs for the rest of my natural life to balance my entertainment budget.

eta: Yes to Spencer Smith's smile. And hello, Ryan Ross is a girl in this video. I'm totally not into the Ryan/Brendon thing, although Brendon is the one of them that really pings my gaydar, but there's a moment at the end of the video that I figure is going to become every Ryan/Brendon shipper's new icon. But, um, all the mustaches sorta freak me out just a little bit. On the girls in the crowd and on them. Someone was smokin' some seriously good weed to come up with that shit. And re-reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
