The cell sorter, she is broken. The sounds the sample tray made when trying to move? Not good.

My work day is now shorter by a couple of hours. Good for beginning a weekend, but not so good for experimental reasons.

This FACS is a total lemon. In the six months we've had it, at least three different major components have malfunctioned badly enough to require service calls.

As long as it's under warranty, not a huge deal. And it was just a test run - I hadn't even gotten my samples ready, I was just running through the start-up protocol.

Yay for weekends. :)
