1. Are we talking about fanon Nate or RL Nate Fick? Because the differences between the two generate some really mixed feelings - as a character, he's easy to sympathize with b/c see his struggle on screen. But reading his book? I have a less positive view of him.

4. Related to #1. I get that his major goal was to get all of his men home alive. But for someone to join an all-volunteer military officer corps and not reconcile with the fact that in war men die? It makes it hard for me to think he would've been THAT good an officer in the long term. Also: I find some of his book sort of disingenuous.
5. I wish the real Nate Fick had done the round-table with the other Marines on the GK DVDs.

1. I'm really intrigued by Eames as a character - there's so much detail to him, even when he's someone else. And I'm amazed by how one or two lines spoken by him (and Arthur) spawned an entire slash ship.

1. During a re-watch, Brad is the character that makes me want to cover my eyes to not see what I know he's about to do, as if somehow not watching will make that awkward moment with Poke or talking about only missing his bike not happen.
2. Brad is my GK little black dress. He goes well with anyone. Except Trombley.
3. Ray. Because he and Ray really are the mom and dad on a vacation roadtrip from hell.
4. I really hate that fandom always makes him the emotionally constipated one in a relationship.
5. I... Actually, given the canon content, I'm happy not wishing anything on him, even his fanon self.

1. Snape was my favorite HP character from book 1 through book 7, because he was clearly so flawed but pivotal, from the very beginning. I'm still angry about book 7, feeling that he got a cheap death, but what can you do? There was no way he was ever going to survive.

4. ...? I got nothing here. Clearly I should have changed that choice in this meme. Um. OK, here: it takes two people to make or fuck up a marriage. As viewers, we tend to be sympathetic toward Hotch and blame Haley for being unfaithful. But we see from his/his colleagues' POV, and one side is never the complete story.
5. I'd like to see more fic and more in canon about him dealing with being a single parent.

1. I have never been a Sam fan. Ever. He struck me as whiny and spoiled (or as spoiled as he could get with the life he lived - relatively protected by Dean) and ungrateful. But since season three, I've liked him less and less, to the point where I really don't care about him at all as a character, except that Dean loves him.
2. Jess & Ruby, I guess; I wrote Wincest early on, but it really doesn't work for me any more.

4. *points at #1* I would have been okay if he'd never been saved. Or if they'd ended the show at S5.
5. Mostly I wish his character hadn't veered so sharply into what I think of as negative characterization. Is there any way to get around that? Maybe if Dean didn't go to hell at the end of S3, things would have been different? IDK.

Tunny (GOOD CHOICE!)

1. Of the three main characters, I feel like we see the least about him in terms of backstory. ILhim anyway, of course.

I don't know if this is unpopular: although there were some awkward moments of enunciation, I thought David Larsen's voice blended well with Guarini & Hughes' voices, which I was not expecting given who much I enjoyed Stark Sands as Tunny. Also? Re: Stark's Tunny being angry? I... didn't really see it; he just looked tense and buttoned-up to me.
5. Oh man. I want to know how he recovers! I want to see him volunteer at the VA when he's finally rehabbed and learn to ski or mountain-climb with his prosthesis and pretty much want ALL HIS STORY. :D
