three music-related things

1. Mumford & Sons will be at Bonnaroo. \o/ They didn't come to Houston on their last tour.

2. Discos are joining Weezer at the DC101 Chili thingy. It is possible that I will visit my sister that weekend. Just, you know, maybe. :D

3. Goddamn, PStump. Bring your ass to TX soon, pls. (I am sort of amused by the reviewer saying that PStump "fronted" FOB for a decade. He sang. He played guitar. IMO, Pete was the frontman.)


And now I'm going to fix some coverslips, and then head up to the Saucer for Aaron's sixth plate party. (JFC, that's a lot of beer. 200 beers per plate.)

Bonnaroo is an amazing experience! We have gone the last three years as an anniversary trip, and it is the only thing I camp for. The people-watching is outstanding, the variety of music is eye-opening, and the non-music stuff is pretty cool. Seriously, everyone needs to experience the Silent Disco at least once in their lives. I'm not that excited about the headliners this year, but the smaller bands are always worthwhile.

I just realized that MCR are in Houston the 20th. So I'd have to fly out THAT DAY, and go directly to RFK for the festival. GWay, why are you making me choose between you and my favorite boys? D:

I... am seriously thinking about selling/giving away my MCR ticket if I can find a decent fare to BWI/Reagan for that weekend.

Unrelated: I am sitting here with the empty plate of leftover birthday cake next to me, and Dante came up and started licking it. He licked the last of the plate of nachos I had the other night, mostly where the cheese had been. I think my never-been-interested-in-people-food cat has finally found stuff he LIKES.
