tied to machines that make me be
Dec. 8th, 2008 09:39 pm+ ♥_♥: Tim McIlrath cites Howard Zinn and Ayn Rand when discussing Appeal To Reason.
But thumbs down to punknews.org not having a copy editor educated enough to recognize the mistake in this sentence: In terms of the fact that you’re career in Rise Against feeds your family is there something about that that’s brought the music to a new level.
+ I wore my ferrous wheel shirt today, and people at work didn't get it. And then hung out at the bar with a group of chemists, biochemists, and engineers, and there were still people who didn't get it. *facepalm*
+ Apparently buying pre-sale tickets to see Metallica entitled me to a download of mp3s of their show here in Houston. And I'm always willing to share, so have them doing One, live at the Toyota Center.
+ It amuses me that iTunes automatically added the exclamation mark to Panic(!) At The Disco's name when I loaded Live In Chicago, as it did not for Pretty.Odd. THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO DECIDE THEIR OWN PUNCTUATION!

Date: 2008-12-09 03:54 am (UTC)I am totally skimming my flist and marking a gazillion things "toberead" instead of finishing my homework for A&P tomorrow. *fail* although, to be honest, the quiz tomorrow is on simple stuff that I really don't think I'm gonna have a problem with. Still! Tell me to do my homework!
Also, I'm working 10 hour days again this week. SO MUCH SUCK. :(

Date: 2008-12-09 04:42 am (UTC)blahblahblah What is the difference between simple and stratified epithelial tissue? blahblahblah Three functions of the plasma membrane blahblahblah It's easier to let go and relax when Jon's tongue is back, running under, over, between his fingers, and Brendon thinks that maybe the slight huff of breath means Jon's laughing at him, at the noises he's making and the way he's squirming under Jon's ministrations, but he doesn't really care. blahblahblah Describe the processes of diffusion and filtration.
Seriously, this is what my A&P notes look like. And it's not even good porn!

Date: 2008-12-09 05:10 am (UTC)11:08 PM me: Brendon, and it's totally an accident. I mean, obviously not a complete accident, but he was really really drunk (and the girl had hips that reminded him of Spencer and spoke with a slight lisp like Jon and wore funky scarves like Ryan -- none of which he thought of until Pete brought it up) and yes, Patrick, he did use a condom, but still... it was a random hookup and the girl doesn't want anything to do with him or the baby, which is fine by Brendon b/c he doesn't want anything to do with her after the baby's born, but he totally totally wants the baby.
(there's more to it, it was a great way to avoid doing any actual work, lol)
Awww, Zack would totally be an awesome dad! And the boys would totally be so excited about it (although Brendon would be all quiet around their temporary not-Zack minder b/c it'd feel like betrayal to befriend him) and they would be seriously adorable.
