So, as far as I can tell, Robin Hood is going to be Gladiator a millenium later. No? Yes? Anyone got the inside scoop? Anyway. The untold story? I thought that story'd been beaten to death explored. But I will still probably go see it. Mostly b/c the guy who plays Prince John intrigues me.

OH. Also on the music front. I thought, for some reason, that Fuel were done. But they are touring. They are playing Scout Bar tomorrow night. With Brett, the original lead singer. When did that reunion happen? (LOL, Scout Bar. Tiny, skeezy joint way the hell out by NASA Blvd. Sadly, I'm actually considering making that trip.)


ETA: 1. I'm trying to decide whether I should read Sebastian Junger's new book, War. Opinions?

2. In looking for something to eat that does not involve actual cooking at this point in the evening, I unearthed an unopened 1.5 lb bag of black licorice jelly beans. Mmmmm. *tosses a couple of them back*

Mostly, I'll be going to see Robin Hood because Alan Doyle from Great Big Sea is in it. And, well, I'm a sucker for Robin Hood stories, good and bad. :)

I like the RH movies, don't get me wrong. I just feel like maybe I'm getting old, if I can remember two proper movies since I was a teenager - the one with Alan Rickman as the Sheriff & the one with Patrick Bergin as Robin - plus Men In Tights and the Disney version, and the Errol Flynn version. And the BBC tv version! So much Robin! I guess I shouldn't complain, since they keep giving me really awesome Sheriffs, huh? ;)
