I'm caffeinated and less behind now, so it already is.

How're you this morning? Is the editing finished?

*hugs back*

I wish! Why is AZ the only reasonable state?

Hawaii doesn't do DST either, I think. As for AZ being reasonable, have you looked at our legislature/current governor? They're the most idiotic bunch on the planet.

But Hawaii, awesome as it is, would be too far from... everything, basically. :)

Ugh, it can't be worse than TX. Have you SEEN the stupid textbook bullshit the TX Board of Ed is trying to squeak through? It'll fuck up education for the entire COUNTRY if it happens, just because of TX's influence on the textbook markets.

Our government had a deadline to balance the budget. So they stopped the clock in the main chamber so the deadline wouldn't come. They also refused to open the door for the governor's staff so they didn't have to hear what she had to say. My state is being run by two-year-olds.

Did you see what passed in South Dakota?

Yup, global climate is effected [sic] by astrology.

Why are legislators so stupid?

I think they could all benefit from a time-out.

EVERY TIME i walk by those books at work, i get a little angrier.

so much ranting.

It makes me cranky every time I see it. At first sight of it, I was mildly annoyed, but the more I think about it the crankier it makes me. Why don't we undermine female sexuality a little more, pop culture? Kthnx. >:/

Somehow, I had missed the books (and I'm kind of glad), but I do like this response. Also daylight saving time is evil. Hawaii doesn't change time either, I lived there a couple of years and it was nice getting out of the practice.

It's not that I'm on the clock for work, it's just jarring to realize that the time I thought it was... it is not.

Hawaii would be awesome for a while, but then I'd hate that it's so far from family. But I suppose paradise has to has SOME flaws, right? :)

I admit that I always spend the first week of the time change whining about it. Especially the first couple of mornings, because I swear my cat can tell time and thinks she's being fed late. :)

I enjoyed the time I spent in Hawaii and I'd go back and visit, but I don't know that I'd want to live there again. We had my in-laws living with us at the time, so yes, paradise definitely had its flaws. :)
