The film developer is fucked. AGAIN. (Did I tell y'all that in addition to that last time I had to take care of it, the reagents got contaminated while I was out sick, too?)

There's a professional meeting The Chief wants me to attend in San Diego in October. Which would be awesome if it didn't fall on the date that U2 is in Houston. Those were expensive tickets for a show I REALLY want to see, but I can't turn this trip down -- I did that last summer b/c I already had travel/concert plans for the dates of the Small G Proteins meeting in VT. Can't justify refusing professional development twice in a row. But. The Edge. Adam Clayton. :(((

It never gets old. :) Plus, that's four years' work, since we got scooped right as we were ready to publish 18 months ago. Had to come up with more expts to make it novel enough to justify publication.
