How did I manage to contract pneumonia in the middle of a Texas heatwave?

It took all the energy I had to drive to the doctor's office, and then to the imaging facility for X-rays.

I'm faceplanted, hoping that my loving husband will be willing to go fill the scrips the doctor gave me.

I didn't know that whooping cough was still around. Is it treatable with normal antibiotics, or more complicated?

Hi! I sort of feel better, but I think it's that I've adjusted to not being able to breathe, because my lungs haven't cleared after a week on antibiotics. My dr switched the Rx today, so we'll what happens. At this point, I'm just glad I had enough sick leave accrued that I'm not in any danger yet.
