+ Someone put fixer in the developer tank of the x-ray machine. The appropriate contents are labeled by name and by color-coding on the cases, the bottles that hold the solutions, and the outside of the tanks. So apparently I have a colleague who is both illiterate AND colorblind.

+ I just spent a ridiculous amount of money at Cactus Music. Someone needs to go with me (other than MrIris, who still doesn't understand his role as shopping companion) and stop me. Seriously. (Wait. Hm. Half of that was his. Damn the special edition double disc sets! OK, maybe I wasn't as bad as I thought.)

+ Mmmm, Hobbit Wrap with black beans and avocado. I couldn't finish it. So good.

+ Meant to see Terminator: Salvation tonight, but I think I'm going to end up falling asleep before the showing. Long day at work.

+ Dallas, Houston, Chicago? Or just Chicago and Houston? Or Chicago, Detroit, Houston? I'm torn. The Dallas and Houston shows are weekdays and they're not PATD shows, which are harder to manage than weekends. I can definitely swing one, but two days off in the middle of the week is more difficult to manage. ETA: doesn't matter, because nothing but 200-level and lawn was available, via presale or general sale. /ETA

+ Where are the Bonnaroo tickets? They were supposed to be shipped on Wednesday, but they are not in my possession. I feel a Gollum-like moment approaching.

+ I think some birds nested in the chimney. There are suspiciously echoing chirps, and the cats have taken to staking out the fireplace.

Holy crap these shows are selling FAST. As much as I desperately want to go, especially to the Chicago show, or at least one of the FOB/Panic shows,it's not currently looking very good for me. If I get the job in Baltimore, the New Teacher thing starts on the 17th, literally the Monday after all the shows in my area. Not to mention I won't have the $$. Bah.

I know - it's ridiculous! I tried the presales, and there was nothing but 200-level and lawn, even logging on the moment the presales started. And I was logged on before 10am for the Dallas general sale, and there were single tickets in the 100 level section. More than that - only 200 section or lawn. All the pit passes were being sold as part of VIP packages, for $220. Not on, FOB, not on at ALL!

I'm guessing the Houston show isn't going to be any better, and I have a feeling tickets for the Chicago show will be even worse. :(
