Also, the Bouncing Souls are playing their showcase the 20th, and I want to go to it too.

(Actually, last Friday was a holiday I worked. I have EXTRA vacation hours. I totally CAN take that day if I want to. Hmm...)

Work-related: I just spent $1500 on less than 500ug of antibodies. JFC, I'm on the wrong side of this business.

We need some phospho-specific antibodies, and they're *always* more expensive. That's six different antibodies, total. One, at least, we are getting from Sigma, who has a new deal going: No-Risk Antibody Program. If we try the antibody and it doesn't work, they'll take it back and return our money. So that'd be $300 back, at least. Which is better than Santa Cruz (also known in the field as Santa Crap), who sell every antibody under the sun but don't actually test them to see if they work. Or give you your money back if they don't.

I am really torn. It's an early show - 12pm to 6pm, so I'd have to miss all day. But. Yeah. I really want to go. :D
