I do not understand NASCAR. I mean, it's cars driving in circles in heavy traffic. I do that every day. Why watch it?

The cars go really really fast. Or, they used to. All the restrictor plate rules and fining drivers for going too fast on certain tracks has changed that, but I still have a thing for cars. *g*

I absolutely cannot wait until the local racing season starts up. My cousin got a new car this year, even though he's still racing street stock. But the rush I get from going to the races is like the rush I get from going to concerts. idk, it's hard to explain.

'kay. We all like what we like, right? :) Sometimes there's no way to explain it in a way that someone else understands. I've tried explaining my fandom things to J, and she appreciates the fictional ones, but there's something about the other ones that she doesn't get, and I can't explain.
