OMG, it's Monday. And you know what I was faced with right when I arrived in lab?
Somehow, the pipes in our new TC room (which we haven't even used, never even turned ON yet, because we haven't moved in yet) burst over the weekend, and flooded the TC room, the outer lab, the nearby offices, and the labs below.
IDEK, guys.
But it looks like we won't be having our new TC hood installed today after all.
ETA: Also, I am clearly in the wrong business: I got an estimate for cleaning our CO2 incubators before the move. $420 minimum. JFC, all they do is put in a formaldehyde bomb and seal the doors, then come back the next day, untape, and flush out the remaining gas. Four hundred dollars? There are no parts. That's all labor. And THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING, the formaldehyde bomb does all the work.
