I used to LOVE Gary Glitter when I was in middle school. (I'm probably rusty now, but I used to be able to play Rock And Roll Part 2 on the piano and clarinet.) I swear, I had no idea about him being sex offender and looking at child pornography or anything like that and when he got convicted for child molestation, I was like, "What? No. No way. I love Gary Glitter. I would have never guessed. :(" HAHA. FAIL ME.

I know. I had NO IDEA until he was in the headlines. Then all was quiet for a while, and BAM! in the headlines again! I didn't realize he'd been released until I went to check the entry on him at wiki.
