MrIris's grandpa is in a hospital in Corpus Christi.

No details yet. He's 85, so it could be something minor or it could be serious, don't know. We may be making the drive down there tonight.

ETA: It could be nothing but old age, or it could be a heart problem. They're going to put a monitor on him for six weeks. He's being discharged tomorrow, and MrIris is bringing him to Houston.

Thanks! He passed out, and was disoriented and stutter-y when he came to, so they're taking no chances, keeping him overnight, doing EEG and EKG and MRIs and all that stuff, so it might just be the perils of old age, you know? I can only hope.

It's not something that's going to cause an immediate collapse. Just, he's 85, and his heart is tired now. He might need a pacemaker, they'll decide after they evaluate a few weeks' monitoring.
