+ The rotation student? Does the snorting, sniffling, suck-snot-back-into-his-lungs-and-nasal-cavity thing instead of finding a handkerchief. It's CONSTANT. I have long since passed the "Go blow your damn nose" point. Mostly I stick my earbuds in and turn my iPod up loud. I'm going to be deaf before I'm forty.

Seriously, that shit's gross, and it can't be good for the health. Why do that?

+ But then I'd feel guilty about leaving to go see The Academy Is... at the Warehouse Ballroom. And I'm not missing THAT!

+ Also? It sounds like the Cab's first arena gig went fine, although they are relegated to the six-song set.




I can't WAIT until 14Nov. For them, and for that other band for whom they're opening. :D

+ I clearly hadn't had enough caffeine before I left for work, because I forgot to download Appeal To Reason, which is out today.

It wigs me out. I just don't understand that at ALL. I mean, when I'm congested I want that stuff OUT.

Of course, I've been told that I fixate on that sort of thing, so maybe I make it worse than it really is.

I'm missing Rock Band because they're not hitting Portland, just Seattle. It's annoying, but livable. And I AM hitting the Rise Against/Alkaline Trio show on Nov. 8, so that's a nice consolation. :)

I am ridiculously excited about seeing Rise Against and Alkaline Trio - they're here before Rock Band, which ends here in Houston. (Don't think I'm not VERY curious about end-of-tour shenanigans that night. For real.)

Ew... I don't know why people do that, unless it's in a pinch when they don't have tissues handy. Constant, though, means going out to purchase a box.
