+ Firstly, bandom drabbles to go with the three word prompts are done. It took an ungodly long time to post, even though they were written a week ago.

Mostly MCR with a dash of Panic. In no particular order:

bandom/QaF crossover, 100 words for [livejournal.com profile] why_me_why_not

Ryan/Spencer gen, 118 words for [livejournal.com profile] wearethestars

Frank/Mikey, 291 words for [livejournal.com profile] inkandchaos

Gerard/Frank, 272 words for [livejournal.com profile] ciel_vert

These comprise domestic fic, AU, and crossover fic. They are, however, still fictional.

+ Next? Random musicshare. It's been awhile - I missed June, July, and August for monthly musicsharing, so here, have some of the songs I listened to all summer.

playlist

All Night Long - This is the acoustic version from Empires' interview on Fearless radio. I *really* want to see them live soon. Also? "Poverty's calling from a mother's home"? I don't know if that's meant to be sociopolitical commentary, but since the vast majority of single parent, low-income families are ones in which the only parent is a mom? Spot on.

Thrash Unreal - Gonna seem them at ACL Sunday! < /flailing > I don't know, maybe I'd dream that my daughter would grow up to be a junkie.

Across The Universe - Everyone else covers it. Why not Seether, too?

Clavicle - The weirdest love song in the world.

Quelqu'un M'a Dit - Even if you don't know what she's singing here, Carla Bruni's voice is mesmerizing.

Momentum - This song. I keep hoping to find an mp3 of them (read: Bob) performing this live, just him and his guitar alone on the stage. "You are the scar on my tissue that I show all of my new friends."

Drunk Girl - Does this need an explanation?

One Step Closer (live from PR) - As The Chief says whenever I crank this in lab, this sounds angry.

Stoned - I was looking for my acoustic version of this, with just Rhett Miller, but I couldn't find it. *shrug* He's doing a couple of solo dates, and I hoped he'd come to Houston, but no luck.

Leader (live) - Phantom Planet! With a chorus of school kids! "The day's about to dawn..." Literally for me, right now.

Give It All - You all know I ♥ Rise Against a ridiculous amount, right?

All That I've Got - I think this is the album version, although the mp3 file is mislabeled. Oh, Bert.

Wake Up, Open the Door and Escape to the Sea - Melancholy. Can't be happy all the time.

+ While I'm talking about musicshares, did y'all see the decision granting a new trial for RIAA v. Thomas? As far as I can tell from reading it, it comes down to parsing the definition and usage of "distribution" in copyright law, and declaring that the damages that the RIAA demanded were excessive. I am *very* curious to see the outcome of the new trial. (link courtesy of J)

+ Dean Winchester + pie = OTP, yes? Also? Bobby is totally my favorite now. (Yes, I'm shallow like that. Bobby, Dean, Castiel. Who's that Sam guy? Although to be honest, I've never really been a Sam girl, and his behavior thus far in S4 isn't changing that.)

+ Skipping out on work to go to Austin. Because it's AUSTIN CITY LIMITS TIME!

Thanks for the tunes! I missed your monthly music posts... I've found some great new (to me, anyway) artists through them.

You're welcome! I meant to do monthly music shares, but I was always busy at the end of the month, and then I felt silly posting a "June" playlist the third week of July (and so on for July and August) so I left them unposted. :)
