RISE AGAINST / ALKALINE TRIO / THRICE TICKETS (at Verizon Wireless) GO ON SALE SOON.

I love Alice Cooper, and I really want to see him at Rock The Bayou, but I can't afford both events. Rise Against and Alkaline Trio on the same ticket totally trump him.

And Rise Against's new album should be out by then, right? RIGHT?

I am going to be eating PBJ for lunch for the rest of my LIFE, now. I mean, seriously. But it'll be totally worth it.

And Phantom Planet is going to be back in Houston in October, YAY.

Also. BB King at HOB, a two-night stand. *flails more* I think that's a gig I could get MrIris to take me to as a birthday gift. :)

I have tickets for the Cab/PWT/Panic/DC show at Reliant. I am so lame, I couldn't decide on pit or seats, so I got both. I can always try to sell the ones I don't want, right?

I had tickets to see them in Austin, but work ended up running long, and it's a three hour drive, and I missed the show. I was Not Happy.

I've seen Rise Against twice and I don't like Alkaline Trio or Thrice so I didn't really bother with this tour.

Dude I can barely afford to eat all month, let alone buy two tickets to the same show and still be alive. D:
srsly, wtf?

1. That is *some* bill. I'd be really surprised if it doesn't sell out.

2. You and me both on the PBJ

3. I'm waiting for PP to back in my area but MCS will be here in Oct. and that makes me happy. :D

4. How do you get the pre-sale tix on the Panic et al show?

When I got the tickets for HCT, the early admission ticket included a membership to Northern Downpour, and that's the presale that's going on right now. If you are a member, they should have sent a passcode for the presale at Ticketmaster. Otherwise, I think the regular sales start Friday.

*sigh*

The increase in the cost of my work-commute is messing up my budget. NOT COOL. But I like PBJ, so I'll get over it. :)

I'm with you on the gas=fubar budget.

I'm spending about 1/4 of net on gas right now 0_0.

Thus the *need* to find a better job and closer housing. :)

Thanks. I managed to pull on my big-girl thinking cap and sort out the answer to the presale. LOL.

BRB, LOL'ING.

You are epic. And tbqh, it is so worth it. I'd subsist on seeds for the rest of my life if it meant more shows \o/

I'm ridiculous. It's dangerous, and I should cut myself (and my credit /debit card) off. Seriously, I totally was telling myself that I was at the barrier for HCT, I didn't need to see them that close again, that I didn't want to deal with the crowd surge (which was more vicious there than at any other show I've ever seen except maybe an MCR gig, and at least the crowd there *listens* when Gerard asks them to back up) and wanted an actual seat. But then my inner fangirl, who is maybe 12, took over.

Holy shit, so your crowd at the HCT was ridiculous, too? Mine was fucking insane. I mean, I've been to ~real concerts (Skinny Puppy, various local punk shows) and never been trounced that bad. WTF PANIC FANS.

But alas, the inner fangirl always prevails. D:

It was BIZARRE. I mean, I like metal and hardcore as much as I like pop, so I've been in mosh pits and everything before, but there's a certain etiquette there, you know? And you expect the circle mosh and the slamming and crowd-surfing. There was no etiquette to the pit at HCT. None. Just pushing like people thought that the barrier would give. Which, no.

My inner fangirl is going to have to be content with Rock Band, Cobra, and Rise Against, because I'm tapped. GO BACK TO THE STUDIO FOR A WHILE, BOYS. (Of course, whatever tour TAI and WtKs are going to be doing this fall will be announced soon, and I'll be like, "Oh, I'll just NOT EAT this week to afford that ticket." My ass could probably stand that.)

Uuugh. HORRIBLE DECISIONS.

I'm actually kind of glad I can't go to any of the fall tours. Means I don't have to sell my soul to Ticketmaster.

TM has the rights to my firstborn. Or they would, if I were going to have children.
