Monday, monday

It is Monday.
Yesterday was DST, and I forgot to change the alarm clock.
I was very late to work today. In fact, I didn't get here until 10:30am, whereas I'm usually here by 9:30 or so.
When I got here, the clinician my boss mentors needed help, help he was unavailable to provide, which of course meant that I was the reference. The research assistant prof down the hall had fucked up the film processor (again; pretty much every Monday he comes by my lab to tell me it's jammed with his film in it). And I needed to get my experiment started before my scheduled meeting with the seminar speaker. The scheduled meeting went over by 30 minutes, putting me behind. When I got back into lab, both the clinician and the new post-doc needed guidance, the idiot had jammed the processor AGAIN (twice w/in three hours. What. The. Fuck?), and my experiment still wasn't on track.
Seriously, it reached the point where I was just, "Go away. I'll be free in an hour. Come back then."
Then the Chief came in and asked me to take care of his experiment so he could go to seminar. Which I had planned on attending. *sigh* OK, fine, whatever. As long as it means I'll have an hour of peace to get my crap done and check the backlog of emails.
I will be here forever today.
Tell me something to make me smile?
eta: Also, I find the irony of Democracy Now covering Eliot Spitzer's proposed reproductive rights legislation vis-a-vis his alleged link to a prostitution ring pretty damned funny. Oh, timing.
