I know I mentioned the unpopular fandom opinion memes before. I didn't comment in them, because I'm not in the mood for wank, and that seems like an invitation. But seriously? Slashing characters doesn't mean you need to make them completely teenage-girlified. And if I see one more stupid pairing name, I'll scream. Snarry is annoying enough, but it's so entrenched that I accept its inevitability. Ryte? Treckett? WTF? (eta: I guess I should be glad that Sam/Dean isn't Sean or Dam. Heh. Yay for the simplicity of J-squared.)

What else? Um, my brain is overloaded with input at the moment, and that means nothing is getting written. Epic fail on my part. I open Word and my mind shorts out.

And lastly, I need gen fic to explain the cause for Frank and Gerard being so far apart and unfriendly (given Frank's usual position in interviews - G's lap) in this pic.

I heard a rumor that Frank and Gerard had a huge fight about Lyn-Z at some point. They really need a break.

And now I really wanna know what prompted Mikey's move.

I heard that rumor, but I didn't know if it was real or a fandom construct. Because Gerard was with someone else in, like, July, but married LynZ in September. REALLY fast, right? And there was a weird scene in one of their concerts where Gerard physically pushed Frank away. Then the quick wedding. Which, in an interview, Frank has said was sweet and a total surprise. So. Dunno.

There was a distinct lack of Frank-jumping-around and Frank-hanging-on-Gerard for most of the European dates in Oct/Nov/Dec. Which could have been some of his personal issues that led to him leaving the tour for a few dates. Or could have been them not getting along so well. Again, dunno.

Yeah, it seems like things went SUPER fast. And Mikey got married not too soon before that too, which, you know, could present its own issues.

Yeah, but Mikey and Alicia had been seeing each other for a while. At least since mid-2005, I think. She teched for FOB when FOB and MCR were on Warped together, and that's when they started dating, I think. I tried not to speculate, but I seriously wondered about the influence Mikey's marriage and taking a hiatus (again, for an entirely different reason than the one while they were writing TBP) had on Gerard.
