It freaks me out when someone talks on their mobile phone while they're using the facilities. Or any phone, really. I'm not clear on why it doesn't bother me when a friend and I go to the ladies' together and continue talking through the piddling. Maybe because I'm not forcing my bodily function on someone else's environment? But the idea of talking to someone else, someone not there? Squicks me. Especially if I am the person being phoned.

I can remember chatting with my mom, hearing the flush of the toilet and being completely freaked out. Hang up! Tell me you have to pee! I'll call you back, I promise! I've done this during marathon gab sessions w/ J.

Why bring this up?

There's someone in a stall in the ladies' talking to someone else from her lab on her phone. She couldn't, you know, wait until she'd finished, zip up, wash her hands, and toddle on down the hall?

I guess the matter under discussion was urgent, or something.

*shudder*

Also? MakeDamnSure surpasses Every Breath You Take in creepiness, I think.
