So, I'm done with my fest fic (YAY!) and we've got football on the tube while I scribble (*waves at icon*), and I just had the most cracktastic idea because of the game - Dallas Cowboys vs. Carolina Panthers.

The commentators are going on and on about Romo and TO and the Jessica Simpson thing, and I had to wonder. What is Christmas dinner like in the Simpson household? I mean, really.

Jessica and Ashlee and their boyfriends, the super-masculine man's man, Tony Romo (who, btw, spends half his professional life with his hands on another guy's ass), and guyliner-applying, Patrick Stump-kissing Pete Wentz, who will make out with anybody but is scared of other guys' penises (penii?). Plus, Romo looks like he could break Wentz with his pinky. Without even trying.

*boggles at the idea of dinner table or gift-opening convo*

That so needs to be written.

Also. I am not allowed to buy any more concert tickets. As it is, I'll be eating PB&J for lunch for a month to balance my budget.

I'm pining for tickets to see the Boss because I thought they'd be my xmas gift. Turns out I'm getting a set of tickets to Aeros games instead. Which, good, yay, but not what I thought I was getting. Foo Fighters - only shitty seats left. And I'd like to see Alanis Morissette, but not so much Matchbox 20.

They're random punk/pop/rock bands, mostly. Sidestage on Warped2007 is maybe the biggest show some of 'em ever played.

Thanks ... time off has been a blessing, that's for sure. I think I'm finally caught up on sleep. Now I just have to catch up on grading! and set two exams... Ack! At least I don't have to go back until Jan 7th...
