The other night we went to a dinner party at a friend's house. This couple recently moved to the Company Town when one of them received a promotion that required her presence in the community. (Public Relations at that level means actually being there to interact with the public and all, crazily enough.)

We turned into the neighborhood, which is completely new, no established trees, spankin' new houses, shiny imported cars parked in black-topped driveways, and manicured lawns, and MrIris said, "Does this place remind you of the neighborhood in that episode of Supernatural? The one with all the bugs?"

Heh. Yes. It did indeed.

Sounds like the neighborhood from the Stepford Wives, too!! *shivers* Or should that be a more modern Stepford Spouses...something about artificial intelligence...

It totally is. I just thought it was funny that he should bring it up, and use Supernatural for comparison. :)
