I'm so petty... I used all the gel-casting plates to pour gels, and I put them in my drawer in the 'fridge. I hope he doesn't need to cast any of his own in the next few days...

Hi, I hope you don't mind me checking out your journal. I found you through the HP-Houston community (how do you link to LJ users and communities?) and noticed that you also work in the Med Center (I'm a grad student at MDA.). I just thought I would stop by and wave hello.

OMG! Your labmate sucks! I hope this person doesn't find your gels. If they are willing to take your buffer right off your bench, what would stop them from going through your drawers and messing up your planned experiments?!? Sometimes, I wish we could all have wands and perform magic. There are a few people in my lab who need a good stun every once in a while. ;)

I work in the Pathology department, and more specifically, in the Cancer Genomics lab. I'm a 4th yr GSBS student, hopefully on my way towards the Ph.D.

I'm not sure I can make it tonight. My boss has me working like crazy on a fellowship application (which is pointless because (1) I've already got one and can't accept this if I win it, and (2) I've got a committee mtg coming up 8/28, and this is wasting my time) that is due Monday. I've only got a little bit left, and I need to get revise a bit and all that before I send it to him. But, if I manage to finish or need a break from writing, I'll do my best to make it.

Oh, and btw, thanks for the hints about the LJ user code. I've been trying to figure that out since I got here!
