countdown as the weeks trickle into days

I went to purchase tickets for tonight's showing of OotP (because the only thing better than watching DanRad and AR and the brothers Phelps on the big screen is doing it with a pitcher of sangria at hand), and found that the Alamo is screening Full Metal Jacket tonight, too.

Hope it's on tomorrow night. Never seen it on a big screen. Want to. I expect it'll be different, like seeing Apocalypse Now on video vs. movie-theatre was.

Heh. And there's a tentative itinerary for a Certain Trip sitting in my inbox.

Oh have fun! I think you'll enjoy the instances our 'boys' show up on screen. There's another gorgeous character with an excellent portrayal that you may squee over a bit after you've seen the film. I'll not say another word about it now. *hugs* Yay for good days!

I have to admit that I despise Umbridge's character, but Imelda Staunton did a fabulous fabulous job of making her real.

Now that I've had a chance to think about the stuff that was there and what wasn't, I'm a bit disappointed that the big Quidditch scene was missing. But I'm glad the twins got as much screen time as they did. :)

Still not a big fan of those haircuts, though.
