I just fell down the stairs.

No, I'm not kidding. I was wearing a pair of socks that I've noted before are sorta slippery-slidy on the tiles. And I'm the one who refinished the oak stairs, so I should remember that I considered putting rough treads down in the center of them for safety reasons. But no.

I was heading downstairs to refill my coffee mug and slipped and fell. My coffee went flying, and my ass and elbow hit every step on the way down.

I'm lucky I didn't crack my head open on a stair or on the tile at the bottom, but you know what I'm upset about?

My Snapesexual mug is broken.

My priorities are seriously out of whack.

I'm OK, but for a stiff elbow and sore butt and back. I found some KrazyGlue and the mug is back together, but I'm not sure if it's really sealed enough to ever be a functioning cup again. Oh well. It still looks pretty. :)

I'm OK, although I never realized how much I lean on my elbow until it hurt to do so.

I think the mug is replaceable. I haven't checked CafePress to see if they're still available, but that's where I got it.

I'm sore, but OK. I can't see the bruises, but I know they're there. S'my own fault - I'm such an idiot. I had been sliding on the tile earlier, playing around, and didn't think that maybe that meant I should be careful on the stairs.
