I can't get this stupid song outta my head.

Paralyzer. Finger Eleven.

I'm not paralyzed but I seem to be struck by you, I want to make you move because you're standing still...

Its almost disco-y beat with guitars is paralyzing mesmerizing. I'm humming it now.

Make. It. Stop.

Much, much worse. :p

Thanks for that, though.

I don't think I know that song. Who sings it?

Ackkkk! Now I have it in my head again - it was Tanya Tucker's first hit in 1972 (don't say it!) as a 13 year old - I was 14....

Artist/Band: Tanya Tucker

Delta Dawn, what's that flower you have on
Could it be a faded rose from days gone by
And did I hear you say he was a-meeting you here today
To take you to his mansion in the sky

She's forty-one and her daddy still calls her "baby"
All the folks around Brownsville say she's crazy
'Cause she walks around town with a suitcase in her hand
Looking for a mysterious dark-haired man

In her younger days they called her Delta Dawn
Prettiest woman you ever laid eyes on
Then a man of low degree stood by her side
And promised her he'd take her for his bride

Delta Dawn, what's that flower you have on
Could it be a faded rose from days gone by
And did I hear you say he was a-meeting you here today
To take you to his mansion in the sky

Oh, I hate when that happens! Hope you got rid of it.

With me, lately, it's been Edwin's "Hang Ten", since my DH put a CD that included it in my car...and it's now one of my DD's favourite songs. "Peace, Love, Hang Ten, California... dreaming of the perfect wave..."

Better than a song about pick-ups at pretentious clubs. :)

do you remember Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop . . .

This is the song that never ends . . .
and it goes on and on my friend . . .
some peoples started singing it . . .
not knowing what it was . . .
they'll continue singing it forever just because . . .
This is the song that never ends . . .
and it goes on and on my friend . . .

Love you
