The fandom burnout that I thought would evaporate when Spanish class was done and the constant bicycling finished has not. I keep looking at the Snarry Games fics and not clicking the LJ-cuts, and letting my cursor hover over the link to the Staff Lounge at OWL.

Hopefully Phoenix Rising will get me a bit back into it.

I've got two exchange fics to write, with ideas and outlines and all, but when I open Word, my mind goes completely blank.

When I'm at work, though, all these ideas come to me for SPN fanfic. It's like crack, and I'm totally addicted.

So, in addition to the stuff already on my to-be-written list, let us add:

a. continuing the SC/JA thing
b. expanding on the J2/Wincest thing
c. writing Sandy's view of her evolving relationship with Jared
d. finish the Sam/Dean/restraint thing, which went from random smut to possessive!Dean in the space of a single breath last night
e. Jensen's nightmare based on All Hell Breaks Loose pt1

I've just been blah about reading HP fanfic for fun. Except for Beaters and Seekers. I'm just... dunno. Taking a break from it.

I was majorly burned out on fandom when I was studying for the bar. I think stress in RL affects fandom love in some weird indirect way...either you escape via fandom or you can't get into it because RL is interfering.

Hopefully I just need a prod to push me back into the deep end of the HP fandom pool, and Phoenix Rising will do that.

It's a dead period for HP, before the insanity in July. Not surprised that people are a bit meh on it right now.

I suppose that's why the hockey thing is having such a hold on me.

I feel you there. I was just telling someone the other day that the first part of a sequel to a fic. that I swore had sequel popped into my head the other day. And it's not like I've got the time for it ;).

The Morgan/Reid thing might get added to the list. But I want to get one more Sam/Dean thing done, and I have to write some of my sunandsmut this weekend. And I have to work, to make up for missing time for PR. :(
