thread the needle through
Mar. 22nd, 2010 11:11 pmI meant to post something about SXSW, but I'm tired and half-drunk off some really excellent carmenere, so I'm just going to laugh about the teenies who ended up next to me at the BRMC show the other night.
They didn't know ANY of Band of Skulls' music or BRMC's catalog other than - yes, you guessed it - Done All Wrong, from the New Moon soundtrack. Which BRMC did not perform. They spent the entire show looking bored and uninterested. Srsly, I understand spending a long evening at the barrier if you're really into a headliner but don't care about the opening acts. But GTFO of the barrier if you're not interested in anything but one song. SRSLY.

They did that. And my favorite, 666 Conducer. And they worked The Line into Shadow's Keeper. Leah Shapiro is a goddess. I might've spent the majority of the set ogling her. Possibly.
Plus, signed set-lists are always a bonus. :D
