IDK, it's working, and it didn't make that noise at the Apple Store. Which, you know, that ALWAYS happens to me - before I traded it in, my Jeep's cruise control wouldn't work, not for me, not for anyone who drove it, but when I took it to the shop, the mechanic said it worked fine for him, and lectured me about keeping my foot on the gas when setting it, which OBVIOUSLY was what all of us I was doing wrong. But as long as it's backed up, it'll be okay, if inconvenient, if it melts down before I can get it back for repair.
