I find Will/Tunny plausible, but in my head, it's so very messy, emotionally - Tunny still not recovered from the loss of his leg and adjusting to a civilian life he thought he'd left behind, Will reeling from the loss of Heather and the baby, teetering on the edge of alcoholism, clinging to each other and nearly self-destructing before they find a way to right themselves.
That said, I am willing to try it if you've got a scenario in mind.
