Srsly, in my imagination Brad was totally occupied with what was going on outside his side of the humvee, and was only informed about the LT's Matrix dance along the road by Lilley after the fact. By then, he was still in Iceman mode, still vaguely annoyed that Godfather hadn't given them time for proper recon or even comms with air support, who would've seen the heat signatures of the Iraqis in the ditch, still unfucking the situation with Pappy and Stafford and the fucking Mk-19 which had jammed AGAIN (mercifully AFTER the fire-fight). When he finally had a minute to himself he had to walk off his panic-fueled anger that Nate would take such a stupid risk. And then he had to go find Nate and make sure he really was okay and wouldn't do it again.
