Bandom has made me cross every line and reconsider every kink I've ever had.
Spencer doesn't even know, okay? Brendon's this huge dork - he likes Disney, FFS, he still wears girl jeans when he's not in uniform (although Spencer really appreciates what they do for his ass), and he still reads comics - but there's just something about him that puts a smile on Spencer's face every time they run into each other. And then somehow, he swears it's not deliberate, that happens more and more, first at work-related places in the presence of other EMTs and FFs. Because their companies are close, and they frequent the same bars. And the park is a public place, and they maybe have a friendly football or basketball rivalry? So there's off-duty fraternizing.
But then Spencer offers to buy Brendon a beer as an apology for tackling Brendon during a game (OK, the tackle wasn't that bad, but Spencer was stunned into immobility at the way he really enjoyed having Brendon stretched out beneath him, just for a few seconds), and Brendon looks up at him through his eyelashes coyly as he accepts the invitation, and Spencer is DONE.
