He said that. Seriously.
No, I'm not kidding.
Such a dork.
randomepiphany kept a running blog of the roadtrip if you're interested.
Ray Toro shreds.
Bob Bryar really is a drum god.
Frank Iero looks omgsotired.
Gerard Way is still the prettiest girl on the stage, but MikeyFuckinWay is giving him some stiff competition.
I kept track of the set list from BuzzFest, and it was the same minus a couple of songs (shorter set b/c more bands on that stage) at Edgefest. Good thing, because I couldn't have reached my cell phone to keep track if I had wanted to. Why?
Because I was AT THE BARRICADE. RIGHT IN FRONT OF FRANK AND MIKEY. And it was tiiiiiiight.
I ended up getting lifted out after MCR, because I didn't care enough about 3 Doors Down to stay in the crush. (Who picked the headliners? 3DD clearly has more radio hits, but MCR has a more vocal (and ticket-buying) following, if the mass exodus from the pit (and from the Pavilion the night before) after MCR's set is any indication.
*cough*
Austin was better, longer, set-wise, w/ the addition of Kill All Your Friends, Halos, Desert Song, Cancer, and Desolation Row, but they lost the football/high school theme.
*sigh*
Um.
Yes. Seether, Puddle of Mudd, Chevelle, Blue October, Billy Talent, DriveBy, all good.
But the coffee pot just beeped, and I'm running on 3 hours of sleep, so I'm going to go inoculate.
Three shows in. Two to go. I'll maybe actually write more about them when they're done and I can reflect more.

Date: 2008-04-30 06:05 am (UTC)We're seeing MCR on Sunday but I don't know about the barricade...we're both really short (barely over 5 feet) and I'm afeared of getting broken, and Chris is claustrophobic (though she's the one pushing for the pit..LOL).
Regardless, it's going to be awesome in the extreme!!!!!
Panic on the 17th..
The squee has killed me.
