~ Because he made coffee when I stumbled down the stairs like a zombie and made incomprehensible noises and waved at the coffee pot

~ Because he seriously discussed with me the differences between bad!fic vs. just bad fic vs. poorly written romance/urban fantasy/poorly categorized novels that are appearing on his book-swap site

~ Because he told me unprompted that "that singer in Fall Out Boy has an awesome voice" when he came into the room at the end of the Live In Phoenix DVD

~ Because he cut short the after-play beers he wanted so I could get home in time to watch the Devils' playoff game

~ Because he put the imperial stout back on tap (and brewed another stout yesterday)
