the day started off okay
Mar. 28th, 2009 02:49 pmBut it ended up being made of fail.
1. Our hot water heater (which is in the attic, b/c that's just how the people who built our neighborhood did it) is leaking. YAY, a thousand bucks to replace it. I hope the leak doesn't get worse before Friday, when the new one will be installed.
2. On the way home from picking up MrIris's birthday gift, a teenager driving her mom's BMW (complete with arguing younger brother and friend in the backseat) hit my car. She was in the inside turn lane and I was in the outside turn lane, and somehow she decided that she needed to be in my lane without realizing that I was there. Because my Jeep is so very hard to see. The damage isn't bad, just the bumper, really, and I'm sure she's not going to try to claim it (I'm willing to bet she tells her mom that someone sideswiped the car in the mall parking lot so she doesn't have to admit that she was in the wrong) but now I'm all nervy and upset.
