One set of inlaws delivered to the airport. The other on their way (early) back to Rockport/Corpus Christi.

I have the house to myself for a couple of hours for the first time in a week. OMG, I have never cooked and cleaned so continuously before in my LIFE. And JFC, how can they go through so much toilet paper in such a short time?

Anyway. I have Folie A Deux playing surround-sound (nrgh, Patrick Stump et al. on What A Catch, Donnie) and I'm trying to figure out my iTunes, because seriously, ( wth? )

MrIris asked me earlier how many shows I attended this year, and whether I thought I'd see more or less in the coming year. I couldn't answer either question! So I tallied them up, ( just so I could answer the first part of his question )

I meant to do a year-in-review fic roundup, but I'm too lazy to do the coding for that right now.

Instead, I'm going to go finish Devil's Brood, which is the first work of historical fiction that I've read in a long while that hasn't made me want to throw it across the room in anger at inaccuracies and impossibilities. Plus? Eleanor of Aquitaine, who ruled when most women were chattel, is one of the main characters. BONUS.
