Scott Weiland can rock a bullhorn like nobody's business.

Even if he did look like he was channeling Michael Jackson when STP first took the stage. Also, in comparison to the brothers DeLeo and Eric, the drummer? He looks positively fucking aged. Heroin use'll do that to you, I guess?

*flails*

STP started their set with Big Empty and Wicked Garden, and followed those songs with 90 more minutes of awesome. Songs from all five albums, with a LOT from Core and Purple. And they began their encore with Dead and Bloated. The BASS there? DeLeo DeLeo DeLeo.

I had this moment of "oh god, bandslash has overtaken my brain" at one point. Weiland leaned over Rob DeLeo and slid his hand down over DeLeo's chest as DeLeo bent over backwards, and they sort of held each other up for a good bit of the song. Kinda like that picture of GWay and Frank Iero from last year's PR? (You know the one I mean, where Cortez is playing bass behind them, sorta rolling his eyes and trying to ignore them.) It totally doesn't WORK like that for these two, though, because I thought STP broke up because of Weiland's addiction and because they were all fighting. Or at least Weiland and the other DeLeo were.

And in conclusion: Go, Pete Wentz!
