Jan. 18th, 2008 03:18 pm+ Pack rats FTW! I found samples in the -20degC freezer that I saved from April 2005, so I don't have to completely repeat an experiment. Yessss.
+ I was amused to find this subject line in my inbox today: I [heart] my cervix. From Planned Parenthood. I think it'd be even funnier if it were I [heart] your cervix, but I don't think my entertainment was what they were aiming for. :)
+ Slept in horribly late this morning. Didn't have time to pack my bag, so I'll have to go home after work instead of leaving directly for Austin. Oh well, at least this way I'll miss the heaviest hours of commuter traffic on the Katy freeway. I hope.

ETA 6:30pm: WHY did the electrophoresis equipment spaz out today, of all days? I wanted to be on the road to Austin by now. :(
