spinning in the silence

My hp_summersmut fic isn't finished. It's due tonight at midnight. I guess we know what I'll be doing today.

Last night I mentioned that I needed to watch Bull Durham again because I had this idea for a story, and MrIris was like, "Oh, are you going to slash Kevin Costner with Tim Robbins?"

I froze. Because those two? Never occurred to me. And I was surprised that he would suggest a slash pairing for me to write, given how squicked he is by the idea (we won't discuss his reaction to my "Sirius/Remus is totally canon; there's a reason Remus is with a metamorphmagus now" comment).

But then I replied that I could totally write Annie/Millie if I was sticking to the original characters, that it was probably canon. And it was all good. :D




I have lots to say on the recent Supreme Court decisions, but it's all sort of disorganized in my head, and I feel like I should write my story before I focus on anything else.
