what more could you ask for?

[Poll #1280152]

Sisky's interview with LiveDaily entertains me. He's so earnest. And there's so much Pete-love going on in interviews, lately. I feel sort of bad that I'm not a bigger fan. Not that I hate on him or anything, I just don't love him as much as a lot of bandom seems to.

I'm entertained by the idea of Sisky and the Butcher doing all their tracking together. *adjusts tin-hat to sit more comfortably*

Also, am I the last person to see the Jack's Mannequin video session at LD?

That one is hard! Of all those, I'd definitely choose Weezer, but that means suffering through Angels & Airwaves.

I don't dislike A&A. I've seen them a couple of times. But I've pretty much realized that all the stuff I liked from Blink 182 must've been due to Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker.

And we saw the Butthole Surfers at their very first reunion show in Austin, at Stubb's, and they were awesome, but I don't know that I want to see them again when I could see Weezer. Because, seriously. Buddy Holly wins, hands down, over anything off Electric Larryland.

Oh Sisky! <3

I really do love Pete; it makes my heart happy to see all these interviews with such nice things about him.

I didn't do a happy list for Thursday. *fails*

did you hear that Gale Harold was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident?

No, really? J was just saying the other day that he was on or supposed to be on Desperate Housewives, and I told her that even the ghost of Brian Kinney wasn't enough to get me to watch that show.

Looks like you've got a land slide going on. And you're not the last, as I've not seen the video yet. Well, now I have but not before your post.

Indeed. That's actually the one I have tickets for, but I got them before we knew the other acts would be in town, and MrIris was waffling. Me, I'd rather see Weezer. :D

Yeah, Weezer was the reason I chose that in the poll. I'd go for Weezer.

I was gonna point you at a recent Weezer review that I read (with some amusement, might I add) on my Flist recently, but I just checked and it was Flocked, so I'm gonna email you a seeeekrit copy. Shhh, don't tell anyone. :) It's just that, if the same sort of thing is gonna be happening at all Weezer gigs now, it might be politic for you to know...

I had A LOT of trouble picking between the Butthole Surfers and Weezer, but Tokyo Police Club kind of sealed the deal. However, the Surfers would be an AMAZING show.

I saw the Butthole Surfers at Austin at an ACL aftershow, and they were SO GOOD, better than I remember them being when I saw them a few years ago. But that might've been because that's their hometown, and Stubb's let them go way past the time that the normal city noise ordinance goes into effect, and it was the first show after ending their hiatus.

It was a really hard choice. My first thought when I saw that the Surfers were going to be in town was, "Oh, buy tickets!" but then I realized what night it was.

(Sara Bareilles was never really a valid choice for me, but MrIris likes her; he didn't realize when he suggested it what night that show was.)
