<3333 Amy Ray and Emily Saliers. I don't know what more to say about them.

Random Supernatural rant:

I'm reading John Winchester's Journal. At one point, he notes that only rock salt is good for protecting from spirits, not iodized, because it (iodized salt) "contains impurities".

Dear Alex Irvine,

Ask a scientist (or fucking Google it) before you write shit you don't know. Rock salt? IMPURE. Mostly NaCl cocrystallized with sulfates and other ions. INCLUDING IODIDE.

Iodized salt? NaCl + trace amounts of NaI or KI. More pure.

No love,
Me

I grew up mostly in a small city with a pretty well-respected Music and Arts festival every year. Between that and the free music every Friday night in the summer, I've seen more bands etc., than I could name. Live music really is an important, wonderful thing to have.

What I've really discovered in recent years is that there is a huge difference in experiencing living music, which is awesome, and choosing to go see artists and shows that you want to see. That's where I've had the biggest change. It's such a different, amazing feeling to be able to see a band perform live when you're a fan of the band. What a rush. What a wonderful time. :D
