Then, today? He sent me a link to a review of The Gourds' new album and an interview with them, and babbled about it.

FYI? The Gourds are at the Continental Club tomorrow night, doors @10pm. They're also doing a signing/acoustic thing at Cactus Music at ~5:30pm.

He WAS! He was all, "Look, they're selling the new CD, and they'll sign them after the show, and man those are ugly tshirts, mine is way cooler." I had to laugh.
