I was going to post this later, but because I'm utterly bored at work for another half-hour: here, have a selection of songs from April's most-played albums.
Most of you probably have some of these songs, but I'm too lazy to upload all fifteen songs individually unless someone specifically requests it. So. You get the zip.
Hurricane, The Hush Sound. Greta Salpeter's voice here. I read somewhere that this take was going to be a practice one or something, that it was done at the end of the day when she was tired and wrung out, but the producer really liked it and decided to use it, because of the way the weariness adds to the tone of the song. It works.
I Never Told You What I Do For A Living, My Chemical Romance. You knew there was going to be MCR on this list, right? This song is one they're not doing during this tour, but I'm trying not to pout about it.
Life Less Frightening, Rise Against. Sooner or later, you'll all end up with an entire Rise Against album. If I keep doing monthly posts like this.
No Jesus Christ, Seether. They opened their sets at BuzzFest and Edgefest with this song. Just Shaun Morgan and the bass over the sound system. It makes the pit of my stomach tremble. In a good way.
Pretty Handsome Awkward, The Used. The more I listen to this, the more I love Bert's lyrics. And wish I could have seen them in Austin. Come back to TX, boys, please! Or reschedule Taste Of Chaos so that it comes to Houston. >:/
Northern Downpour, Panic At The Disco. I'm still not sold on Pretty. Odd. but this song has earned repeat listens.
Plans and Reveries, Black Gold. Eric Ronick sings. Plus, the lyrics.
Streets of Philadelphia, Bruce Springsteen. I was bruised and battered...
Girl Anachronism, The Dresden Dolls. Punk cabaret, yes? What's not to love?
Freeeek, George Michael. This is on my sweat-it-out playlist right now. Good rhythm.
L. G. Fuad, Motion City Soundtrack. I have no idea how MCS ended up being most-listened. I'm sorta OD'd on them right now.
Squalor Victoria, The National. This is one of my sit-in-a-darkened-room-with-a-drink songs. All of their albums are, really.
Walk Through Hell, Say Anything. Max Beamis. That is all.
One Day Robots Will Cry, Cobra Starship.
Devil In A Midnight Mass, Billy Talent. I'd like these guys more if the lead singer didn't TALK between songs. Seriously. Awesome music (hello, guitarist and bassist and vocal harmony) but annoying stage presence. And, okay, the fashion police lieutenant that lives inside me shudders at the white tennies with black shirt and jeans. Just, why? Also, HAhahahaha, thanks for making me laugh when you kicked over amps and lights onto the security guys at the barricade. You don't know your own strength.
THE ZIP FILE
As usual, let me know if you DL it, or if you have problems with the link.

Totally DL-ing. :D
Thanks, babe!

He had more to say at the St. Louis show than the Austin one; I find his speaking voice really really annoying. And I wasn't at the second stage of BuzzFest to hear it directly, just heard from others who were there, but apparently he was encouraging the take-your-shirt-off shit for the women, which always pisses me off. I like the songs, though, even better live. :)

Billy Talent is "local" talent for us ... a friend of my SIL's is married to one of the guys in the band. I find it interesting that you've seen them live, and I haven't. Hmm...
