ETA: The barefoot thing was an item of amusement and horror. Because I was expecting, you know, flipflops or something, and if you've been around here for any length of time you know that I have feet issues. So naked feet right in front of me for an entire concert?

Most of my bandom icons are over on my fic journal. Clearly I need to delete some (or shell out money to LJ) so I can upload them here too.

They looked like real boys. Actually, why_me_why_not and I were talking, and we decided that if you hadn't seen them perform before, and thus hadn't been exposed to teh Stage Gay of the NRWC tour, you'd just think Ryan was fairly expressionless, Jon was laidback, and Brendon was the charmingest dorky lead singer ever.

The stupid thing is, lately I've been Not Impressed with him because he seems completely high in every interview. And, okay, smoking up is a personal choice, but when it obviously affects work-related activities, it just looks bad. JMO.

So, yes, I'm impressed again. By the bass-playing and singing and general audience interaction. But the bare feet made me giggle. A lot. So that probably helped, too. :)
