I was just listening to the cover of Shout from Panic's show at the Staples Center, and Brendon says at one point, when they've got the crowd quieted down, "Nothing gold can stay."

The Outsiders is awesome. I can remember reading that in, like, 6th grade and being amazed by its awesome. And then seeing the video and crying like a fool, even though I knew what was coming.

The only thing about an Outsiders AU is that Someone Dies. And that would break my single rule about bandom, which is that I really want a happy ending.
